This is our 11th year floating this section of the Lower Big Niangua. Our guides are dedicated and trained to providing a fun and safe environment. We take good care of our section of river by practicing Leave-No-Trace land ethics. Our Guides also spend time in the off-season training in first-aid and CPR, and preparing for every possible situation. We get excited being on the river and to keep it that way it must be maintained and as safe as can be.
Living Waters has several guides that have been floating this river from the beginning, because it is just that much fun. You’ll also notice our Event Directors seem to have quite a few kids of their own and every one of them can probably teach you a thing or two about canoeing. These kids have grown up floating on this river and several of them have become our certified guides.
They tell me every time I see them, “Can’t wait to see you on the river!”
